Lume was founded in 2018 by Chris Cassar, a Certified Practising Accountant with over 20 years experience working with small to medium sized entities.
Chris has completed a Bachelor of Business Degree at Monash University and holds a Public Practice Certificate from CPA Australia. He is also a Registered Tax Agent (26192244) under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009.
Chris and the wider Lume team have extensive experience and knowledge of small business, particularly in industries such as beauty, cleaning, creatives, fitness, retail, tourism and trades.
The team have worked extensively across geographies including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand and The United Kingdom. This international competency can be drawn upon by clients seeking to expand their businesses internationally.
Through our local and international networks, we have access to large range of professionals in the legal, banking, strategy and marketing fields. These contacts give us leverage to ensure we can service any business requirements our clients may have outside of our areas of expertise.
At Lume we believe in being a truly flexible business partner. We can perform as much or as little of your accounting work as required and are happy to train clients to be able to do the basics. We can then spend our time on adding value to your business instead of entering data.
